I was looking forward to this and it was good. I enjoyed it. However I did find myself rereading certain bits because I got a little confused as to what was happening at the time. Not sure if it was me, or the way it was written 🤷♂️. It’s a clever and intriguing plot line, so I’d definitely say it’s worth a read.

Well, this is a different tale of sleeping beauty for sure. I am not sure what to make of it really. It hovered from 3 stars halfway through cos it was slow going and the I suppose the end justifies the 4. Recommended read.

I really enjoyed this biotech nightmare retelling of “Sleeping Beauty”. This story is very visceral and disturbing. Definitely not for the faint of heart. Very well written and written and suspenseful.

What a great retelling of Sleeping Beauty. Very descriptive, an amazing voice and author who thought of an amazing twist to a classic tale. I would recommend this dark, inventive story that evolks curiosity. As part of the Twisted Tales collection of truly inventive retellings. A must read.

A dark ‘Sleeping Beauty’ horror with unexpected, twisted revelations. While Talia is trapped for years in a dreamlike state, fighting to survive the horrors of her dreamworld, someone on the outside wants to use her for their own evil purposes. Can Lucien rescue her and bring her back to reality? Excellently written. I received an ARC from M4L and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This is the most insane story! Very different from any version of Sleeping Beauty you’ve ever heard. The characters are phenomenal and align perfectly with the horror of this story. The Hushers gave me the heebie-jeebies and the queen is extra evil. She’s obsessed with living forever and doesn’t care who she has to use to get it – even her own son.

I really enjoyed this haunting twist on sleeping beauty and liked the eeriness of the dream world. The hushers are definitely creepy and I would not want to have one of them nawing on me! The characters were well written and had a lot of layers!
